Cheap, Easy and Fast trips in and out of Barcelona and throughout Spain can be made by plane. Essentially the world is at your finger tips from the Barcelona for a few euros. Agencies and Websites

STA Youth and Student Travel. (902444488) www.asatej.com Travel packages and inexpensive round-trip airfare to certain locations in Europe and the States.

Germanwings. .www.germanwings.com Low-Fare Airline offers flights from Barcelona to Cologne for 19 € all inclusive. From Cologne you can fly to nearly all european metropols for 19 € with them. But you have to book the flight at least 3 months in advance, to get this price. They always fly to the big official airports and have a very honest price policy. (For 5 € more you get 0.5 liter bottle of water, a big sandwich and a mars or snickers IN THE PLANE !!!)

Opodo. www.opodo.com Opodo is a Travel Agency founded by nearly all the big airlines together, to offer special prices for Internet booking. Opodo offers flights to every big city in the world and is in general cheaper than other online travel agencies like www.trip.com.

Low-Fare Airlines. The Low-Fare Airlines like Ryanair, Easyjet and Hapaglloyd-Express have the same fare system as Germanwings: the earlier you book, the cheaper the price. But they have a big disadvantage compared to Germanwings, they don´t fly to Barcelona directly, and instead fly to Girona (Ryanair) and Reus (HLX), which are about one and a half hour outside of Barcelona. Ryanair has flights to different cities from Bcn, like London or Frankfurt (about 1 hour outside of Frankfurt) while HLX just goes to Cologne and Hannover. Be careful with the prices of Ryanair. The prices they show on their website are always without taxes and without airport-fees!!!

Flights Inbound. You should look frequently for special offers of the big spanish Airlines like Iberia, Spanair and Air Europa. Especially Spanair has a lot of special offers. (For example 50 € round Trip Barcelona-Madrid).

Viatji. (93 301 16 29) A really cheap Travel Agency here in Barcelona located at Ronda de la Universitat 1. The fares we found there were even better than the ones on Opodo!
