At
what age do girls start masturbating?
(Helena, 13)
|
Hi
Helena,
There are as many ages to start masturbating
as there are ways to have sex. Could
you really
imagine that every girl started at the
same time? Some girls have already
started
touching themselves by the time they
are little girls,
and they begin true masturbation by age 11
or 13. Some other girls never touch
themselves
at all, and some don't have an orgasm when
they do it.
|
 |
|
| Others
don't start until
they are 20, 30, or 40 years old... In any case,
for women masturbation is normally not such a popular
sport as for men, nor do they tend to do it
as regularly.
For example, a woman can masturbate 10 times in
a row and then not do it again for six months.
We're all different. |

How
long should intercourse last?
(Javi, 17) |
|
Hi Javi,
Well, this is not a football game where they blow the
whistle at 90 minutes. And a referee won't decide
if
you have to go into over-time. But OK, there are statistics:
Spaniards average a miserable 17 minutes per encounter.
But to tell the truth, who has a watch next to their
bed marking the time? What counts are each person's
needs. Some times a quickie can be great, other times
the event should last all weekend. In other words:
It
is not just the duration but above all the
quality
that matters. Don't forget that sex is more than just
penetration. It involves foreplay and even after play
and you'll see that the time flies.

Is
it possible to get pregnant during your period? If not,
how many days before and after are you infertile? Is the
"natural" method of birth-control effective?
(Ingrid, 19) |
|
Hi
Ingrid,
It's
good that you are asking these things. They are very
common questions. So that you aren't left with any doubts,
a woman definitely can get pregnant if she has sex during
her period. It is not an effective method of contraception.
|
 |
Explanation:
An egg's trip through the Falopian tube to the
uterus
takes about 4 days. During this path it can be
fertilized during approximately 6-12 hours. |
|
But
a man's semen can survive 3-5 (sometimes up to 7)
days
in a woman's body and "wait" for the egg.
So, the days before menstruation also
form part of your fertile period. In the case
of an unexpected delay in ovulation, you can get pregnant. "Natural" methods
of contraception are not reliable. A safer method to
avoid pregnancy is taking
the anti-babypill. We recommend that you talk to your
gynaecologist about the appropiate method for you.
But also keep in mind: The only way to protect you
from AIDS
and other sexually transmitted diseases is using a
condom. The risk of
contracting an STD is much greater during your period.

S.O.S.!
Recently my girlfriend has started using her
fingers and
tongue around my anus.
And the truth is I've never enjoyed sex so much - I'm
having the most intense orgasms of my life!
But after
doing it, I worry that I could be gay...
(Alejandro, 21) |
Hi
Alejandro,
We
believe that there´s
nothing bad about being gay in the first place. Nevertheless
your question is understandable. Because
of the the sensations it can produce, the anal region
should
be
considered
part
of
the
sexual organs.
And
this applies to heterosexuals as well as to homosexuals.
We don't know exactly why people feel attracted
to people of the same sex. But one thing is certain,
it´s not
provoked by anal pleasure! Lots of men never
try anal stimulation because they associate
any
kind of anal contact negatively with bad smell or being
dirty. On the other hand, there are a lot of people (couples,
singles)
who give
and
receive
anal stimulation in many different ways... Enjoy!

You've
helped me before and I hope you can this time
too. I'm very happy with my girlfriend, but unfortunately
she almost never cums! She's told me that she
only has orgasms with oral sex. My problem is
that for some reason I'm too much of an idiot
to do it right - unlike her ex-boyfriends. Do
you have any advice or techniques for me?
(Marc, 19)
|
|
Dear
Marc,
We
really like that you want to give your girlfriend
more pleasure. But like everything having to
do with sex, there is no right way to practice
oral sex. So we think
that the best expert to answer your question
is
not us but your girlfriend. Instead of rubbing
in those stories about how good her ex-boyfriends
were, she could teach you how to do it better.
|
| But...
to not leave you totally in the dark: most
girls prefer that you don't go directly to
the clitoris, but around it. One simple rule:
Outside is better than in! Just sticking your
tongue in doesn't do much and can give you
cramps in your mouth... Oh! And don't forget
that sex is not a contest. You learn with
time and with desire. Good luck!! |
